The inspiration of the design is 3 fold.
- the shape is a combination of the letters “T” and “P”
- the shape is also a stylized icthus ( “Jesus Fish” )
- the negative shape inside the “P” is like a conversation bubble, or a map marker.
The idea behind the name turning point is you have decisions in your life that determine the direction of your final destination. It’s ok to make a change in your life.

Requested something more Edgy.
Wanted to stick with the idea of Springs, and water. the use of a blackletter type to make it a little more edgy from the get go.
Proposed logo identity for a church plant in arizona.
“the springs” idea stems from water. ie: the spring of living water, etc.
i thought it would be fun to also use an actual spring concept as well. (in the last logo comp)
to convey a flowing river, as well as stylized gathering of people (in the first two comps of the logo)
the round shape seemed to go best with the whole thought and idea behind the logo. (and the use of the “S” to make the mark seemed pretty self explanatory to me)
